Founded in 2017 in Orillia, Jim Ostler Contracting began as a humble endeavor with a vision to provide top-notch contracting services to the local community.

Throughout the years, we have ridden the wave of the pandemic's impact on supplies as well as the overall increased demand for services. Out of that, we have refined our planning process, and broadened our range of suppliers.

We have seen the history of our community as we have peeled back the literal layers of home renovations over a century. In 2021 we got the opportunity to partner with the owners of the original fire hall in Orillia; you can see that project here. We converted the main floor and basement into a total of five new residential apartments.

Since the wrap up of that project, we have got back to our roots - bathrooms, kitchens, basements and decks. Overall, our experience has given us a strong foundation to take on any residential project.
