You've probably seen us around town. Jim Ostler Contracting began in 2017 in response to the growing demand for home renovations in Orillia and surrounding area. We brought our background in construction and project management to provide home owners with a hand-in-hand type of renovation relationship.

In 2021 we got the opportunity to partner with the owners of the original fire hall in Orillia; you can see that project here, converting the main floor and basement into a total of five new residential apartments. So now when asked what kind of work we do, we answer, bathrooms, kitchens, basements and historic fire halls. Oh, and decks.

Throughout the years, we have ridden the wave of the pandemic's impact on supplies as well as the overall increased demand for services. Out of that, we have refined our planning process, and broadened our range of suppliers. Our w e l c o m e home brand is the answer to helping homeowners find all their finishes in one spot, from tile to grout colour to counters and stools.

We continue to do bathroom, kitchen and basement renovations. But we've grown to supply local contractors and DIY'ers with the material they need for their projects.

It is a privilege to work with homeowners to improve not just their home, but their quality of living. Creating design and function that feels like it's always been that way is the objective. We have seen the history of our community as we have peeled back the literal layers of home renovations over a century.
